SPIRIT RUN &
September 7th, 2019
Sign up now and join us to raise awareness for the importance of caring for our beloved planet.
Inspired by North American indigenous tradition, each participant is asked to run carrying a baton that symbolises their message, hopes and prayers for the Earth and to contemplate their relationship with Earth as they travel round.
Split into 12km sections around the circumference of the capital's green belt, each participant can select their own start point and the number of sections they wish to complete. Routes with good wheelchair and buggy accessibility will be marked. All participants will meet in a central London park later in the afternoon.
Details of starting location, times and distances to come. Open to all ages and levels of fitness.
Organised by Daniel Raven-Ellison, the National Geographic explorer behind the London National Park City initiative.
